Convenient Imaging Services

Deborah Heart and Lung Center offers a variety of sophisticated imaging and diagnostic tools to accurately pinpoint a patient’s medical condition. As a specialized facility, the majority of imaging services offered at Deborah are designed to aid in the diagnosis of heart, lung, and vascular conditions.
Whether a patient at the hospital or not, all of our imaging services are available to the general public with a physician prescription and, if required, a referral from the insurance provider.
Non-Invasive Imaging
Non-invasive testing refers to tests used to obtain views of the heart and lungs without the use of catheters or invasive techniques. These tests are easier and safer for patients while still serving as advanced diagnostic tools in evaluating cardiovascular diseases. Non-invasive imaging tests offered at Deborah include, but are not limited to:
- CT scans
- Echocardiograms and EKGs
- Low-dose lung CTs
- Ultrasounds
- X-rays
Minimally-Invasive Imaging
Minimally-invasive imaging requires inserting catheters into the blood vessels of the heart in order to accurately assess the arteries and the heart’s electrical system.
Cardiac Imaging
Cardiac imaging is a subspecialty of diagnostic radiology. A cardiac radiologist supervises or performs and then interprets medical images to diagnose diseases of the heart such as heart disease, leaky heart valves and defects in the size and shape of the heart.
Non-Cardiac Nuclear Imaging
Although Deborah specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and vascular conditions, as well as other health conditions, the hospital also offers a wide range of diagnostic imaging services, including but not limited to:
- Bone scans
- Lung scans
- PET scans
- Renal scans
- Thyroid scans
Note: Several of our diagnostic services are done using equipment leased from outside companies, and these external providers do require a copay. Please inquire about copays when scheduling an appointment.
