Cutting-Edge Care from the Area’s Preeminent Interventional Cardiologists

Cath LabOur team of interventional cardiologists offers a variety of advanced, minimally-invasive options for:

  • Cardiac catheterization, including transradial (wrist) placement
    • Transradial catheterization leads to shorter recovery time, reduced need for anesthesia, less bleeding, and fewer complications than traditional groin catheterization. It is a “radial artery approach” that threads a cath line to a patient’s heart through the artery in their wrist rather than the groin.
  • Interventional and diagnostic catheterizations
  • Structural heart issues, including interventional closures
  • Stenting
  • Valve replacement

The team at Deborah Heart and Lung Center is known for handling the most complex cases and offering advanced non-surgical solutions that other less experienced interventionists may not perform on a routine basis. Our team also actively participates in clinical trials as well as a fellowship training program to teach future interventional cardiologists, meaning our patients benefit from both the latest research and a collaborative approach to care.

Our expertise, technology and experience are extensive and make us the best at what we do.

Could You Have AFib?

It is estimated that between 2.7 million and 6.1 million people in the United States have atrial fibrillation and this number is expected to increase as the population ages.

When a person has AFib, the normal beating in the upper chambers of the heart is irregular, and blood doesn’t flow as well. This increases the risk for DVTs, heart attack, and stroke even when the condition is asymptomatic.
