Cutting-Edge Care from the Area’s Preeminent Interventional Cardiologists
Our team of interventional cardiologists offers a variety of advanced, minimally-invasive options for:
- Non-valvular atrial fibrillation through our Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) Program
- Cardiac catheterization, including transradial (wrist) placement
- Transradial catheterization leads to shorter recovery time, reduced need for anesthesia, less bleeding, and fewer complications than traditional groin catheterization. It is a “radial artery approach” that threads a cath line to a patient’s heart through the artery in their wrist rather than the groin.
- Interventional and diagnostic catheterizations
- Structural heart issues, including interventional closures
- Stenting
- Valve replacement
Many of our procedures have same day discharge.
The team at Deborah Heart and Lung Center is known for handling the most complex cases and offering advanced non-surgical solutions that other less experienced interventionists may not perform on a routine basis. Our team also actively participates in clinical trials as well as a fellowship training program to teach future interventional cardiologists, meaning our patients benefit from both the latest research and a collaborative approach to care.
Our expertise, technology and experience are extensive and make us the best at what we do.
