If you’ve never tried geocaching, you may be missing out on more than you realize. Geocaching is a recreational activity that sets you on an adventure to find hidden caches, using a variety of navigational techniques, that are stashed in locations all over the world. A cache typically consists of a waterproof container that contains small items or trinkets and/or a log book to note when a cache has been found and who has found it.
Similar to treasure hunting, geocaching is a fun way to get outdoors and to explore the world around you. As a recreational activity, it provides entertainment that also has the added benefit of getting you moving. After all, you can’t find a cache while sitting on your couch!
