Strawberries and Cream

Here’s a low-calorie dessert that’s perfect when you have red, ripe strawberries. This easy dessert is as pretty as it is delicious.

Suggested Serving Size

3/4 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Grand Marnier® or orange liqueur
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt (gluten free if needed)
  • 4 tsp sliced almonds

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine strawberries, sugar, Grand Marnier and lemon juice. Let stand for about 30 minutes, or until the strawberries release their juice. Top with the Greek yogurt and almonds.
