Raffaele Corbisiero, MD

Atrial Fibrillation or AFib is an irregular heartbeat. Learn the signs and symptoms of AFib, its risk factors and treatment options.  When a person has AFib, the normal beating in the upper chambers of the heart is irregular, and blood doesn’t flow as well as it should from the atria to the lower chambers of the heart.  AFib may happen in brief episodes, or it may be a permanent condition.  Cardiac Electrophysiologist Raffaele Corbisiero, MD explains how AFib affects the body, its diagnosis and prevention on the Hurley in the Morning radio show.
