Drug-Coated Balloon

Deborah’s team of Interventional Cardiologists have pioneered a new device at Deborah – the IN.PACT Admiral drug-coated balloon. Deborah is proud to be among the first hospitals in the area to offer this new minimally-invasive treatment for patients with peripheral artery disease (PAD) in the upper leg, a debilitating condition associated with a dramatic increase in risk for heart attack and stroke. Recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), drug-coated balloons are a new type of medical device used to treat PAD in the upper legs.
