Nidra^® is the first and only drug-free therapy clinically proven to reduce symptoms of moderate-to-severe Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) in adults who have not achieved adequate relief with medication. It is a wearable, sleep-compatible device designed to provide symptom relief while helping patients achieve more restful sleep.

Unlike medications that work throughout the body, Nidra uses targeted nerve stimulation technology to address the symptoms of RLS directly at their source. The device is worn on the legs during periods of rest and sleep and can be personalized to each patient’s needs.

How does it work?

Nidra uses a technology called Tonic Motor Activation^® (TOMAC^®) therapy. The device delivers gentle stimulation to the peroneal nerves in the legs, activating the same neural pathways involved in voluntary movement. Because movement often temporarily relieves RLS symptoms, this stimulation can help reduce the uncomfortable sensations and urge to move associated with the condition.

Before beginning therapy, each patient completes a personalized activation session that helps determine the appropriate stimulation settings and ensures the device is optimized for their individual needs.

Am I a good candidate for treatment?

Nidra may be an option for adults with primary moderate-to-severe Restless Leg Syndrome who are considered refractory to medications, meaning previous drug therapy has not provided sufficient relief.
