BioEngineered Skin Substitutes

A bioengineered skin substitute is a dressing containing live human cells that gets applied to a wound weekly to accelerate healing.

How does it work?

Patients visit the James Klinghoffer Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Treatment weekly to have skin substitutes applied to any chronic or slow-healing wounds.
