The long-term effects of COVID-19 are not yet known. Many patients diagnosed with COVID-19 continue to experience symptoms that require care to improve quality of life. The Post-COVID Recovery Program at Deborah Heart and Lung Center addresses the needs of patients who have symptoms lingering 30 days or longer. Patients who were ventilated during their illness are particularly vulnerable for chronic respiratory issues.
