Martin Miguel Amor, MD
Critical Care Cardiologist
Dr. Amor is a critical care cardiologist and is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, critical care medicine, nuclear cardiology, adult comprehensive echocardiography and internal medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. After medical school, he completed a residency in internal medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ. He went on to complete a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset NY. He also completed a fellowship in critical care medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Mount Sinai, NY.
Dr. Amor’s special interests include critical care cardiology, temporary mechanical circulatory support and cardiogenic shock. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Amor is actively engaged in academic medicine, medical education, and clinical research. He has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and has participated in clinical research projects aimed at advancing the care of patients with cardiovascular disease and critical illness.
