Dr. Rojas-Marte is a cardiologist and is board-certified in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. After medical school, he completed a residency in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He completed fellowship training in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and cardiovascular disease at Rutgers University Medical School, Newark NJ.
Dr. Rojas-Marte’s special interests include advanced heart failure, left ventricular assist device (LVAD), heart transplantation, pulmonary hypertension, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac amyloidosis. He has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed publications and participated in many clinical research projects.
