12th Annual Philadelphia Veterans Day Parade and Festival
Sunday, November 8, 2026 | 12:00pm - 3:00pm
The 12th Annual Philadelphia Veterans Day Parade and Festival is a community-wide celebration dedicated to honoring the service, sacrifice, and legacy of America’s veterans. Each year, thousands of veterans, military families, civic organizations, and community members gather to recognize those who have served while celebrating the enduring spirit of our nation’s military.
The parade begins at 12:00pm along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and concludes at Eakins Oval, where the festival continues through the afternoon with live entertainment, food trucks, family-friendly activities, veteran resource organizations, and exhibits. The event will once again be televised locally on Channel 6, allowing even more people to take part in honoring our nation’s heroes.
This year’s parade will be led by Grand Marshal Gunnery Sergeant Roosevelt Farrow, New Jersey’s last surviving original Montford Point Marine. Between 1942 and 1949, Farrow was among the more than 20,000 African American men who integrated the U.S. Marine Corps and served with distinction during World War II, making his participation especially meaningful.
