Joseph Manni, Executive Vice President and COO at Deborah Heart and Lung Center has announced the appointment of William Wiley of Marlton as the new Director of Safety and Security at the hospital. The appointment is effective immediately.

Wiley holds a Master of Science in Public Administration as well as an undergraduate degree in Public Administration and Criminal Justice from Fairleigh Dickinson University, as well as numerous specialty certificates and training credentials. He served with the Camden County Police Department from 1993-2018, rising through the ranks from Patrol Officer to Lieutenant.

Wiley has spent time as a School Resource Officer in the Cinnaminson School District, and joins Deborah from Bayhealth Hospital in Delaware where he served as Security Operations Manager, leading a security team across multiple organizational sites.

“We are excited that Mr. Wiley is joining our team,” said Manni. “Bill has over 28 years of progressive law enforcement and security training in a wide variety of settings. That, combined with his hospital experience, provides an ideal background for heading up safety and security at Deborah.”

“Security has evolved considerably over the years, and having someone at the helm of our team keeping our staff, patients and visitors safe at all times, is a number one priority for Deborah. We are confident that Bill will be a huge asset to our administrative team.”

In his free time Bill enjoys spending time with his family, boating, playing softball, traveling, concerts, and watching sports.
