Joseph Chirichella, President and CEO at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, has announced the appointment of Thomas R. Percello, MBA as Executive Vice President Finance, CFO.

Percello joins Deborah from Hunterdon Healthcare System where he served as Corporate Director of Finance. Prior to that, Percello spent 25 years in various CFO and senior finance roles at Community Medical Center, Toms River; and Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood; as well as corporate positions in the RWJ Barnabas Health System.

In addition to his MBA, Percello is also a CPA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association, of which he is a Fellow.

Tom most certainly brings that asset to our organization along with experience both in a community and corporate setting. He has a vast range of experience in healthcare financial management and I expect he will quickly integrate into our leadership team. We anticipate he will play a key role in process improvement and cost savings, revenue growth, and driving financial improvements. His healthcare background will make it easy for him to colloborate with our medical staff as our team works towards common goals of excellent medical care delivery in the most cost effective manner.”

Percello, who lives in Lincroft with his wife and two daughters, enjoys playing golf, watching his daughters play soccer, and traveling with his family.
