Deborah Heart and Lung Center’s James Klinghoffer Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Treatments has received the SerenaGroup’s Gold Standard Quality Seal of Approval.

The Quality Seal of Approval is a standard within SerenaGroup that reflects on best practices to ensure that chronic wound care patients receive the care they need.  Through their Quality Dashboard, the SerenaGroup monitors partner wound care centers on operations, finances and clinical metrics on a regular basis, ensuring quality standards and outcomes in healing chronic wounds. With an emphasis on best practices and internal benchmarking, SerenaGroup sets high industry standards through its patient-centered focus.

At Deborah’s James Klinghoffer Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Treatment, a multidisciplinary team applies proven wound care practices and advanced clinical approaches to speed wound healing and recovery, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, also known as HBOT. This treatment exposes the entire body to an environment that is 100% oxygen-saturated under increased atmospheric pressure, forcing highly oxygenated blood to the patient’s extremities. Because the oxygen level of the patient’s blood is maximized, this treatment promotes faster healing of chronic wounds and damaged tissue.
