Deborah received lots of Valentine’s Day hugs from The Girl Scouts of New Egypt, Cream Ridge, Wrightstown, and Cookstown who collected and donated “Hero Pops” to the Hospital. The scouts were working on their “My Promise, My Faith” pin and when the 29 kindergarten through seventh-grade girls learned about Florence Nightingale and the parable of the Good Samaritan, it inspired them. “From keeping floors squeaky clean to spending time with lonely patients, we appreciate your compassion and care for those around you!” they wrote in a letter to Deborah with their gifts. With smiles all around, Jen Joiner, APN, Deborah’s Structural Heart Disease Program Coordinator, shared the love with staff throughout the hospital. From all of us at Deborah, thanks for the love!
