Michael Cane, MD

Surgical Intensivist

Dr. Michael Cane is a surgical intensivist and is board-certified in surgical critical care and thoracic and cardiac surgery. Dr. Cane earned his medical degree and completed a residency in general surgery at State University of New York. He also completed a residency in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a fellowship in adult cardiac surgery at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine.

Dr. Cane’s special interests include adult cardiothoracic surgery, surgical critical care and pediatric and adult congenital heart surgery. He has participated in many clinical research studies and authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals.
