Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology

This ACGME accredited Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship Program accepts one applicant per year who has completed a cardiology fellowship program. The one-year program trains fellows in diagnosis and management of right, left, and biventricular failure. In collaboration with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, fellows will also receive a four month cardiac transplant experience.

Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program

The Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Program at Deborah is a specific cardiac sub-specialty. Deborah physicians who are Board Certified in ACHD have taken extra years of specialty training, ensuring expertise in diagnosing and treating adult congenital heart problems.

This ACGME Vascular Surgery (General Surgery) Program selects one fellow to train for two years to meet certification requirements of the American Board of Osteopathic Surgeons, achieve the six core competencies expected of a new practitioner, and document a minimum of 200 major vascular surgery procedures – both open and endovascular — performed either as surgeon or first assistant under supervision.
