For the second year, Deborah has partnered with the Food Bank of South Jersey in their Summer Meals Program. The program is designed to bring much-needed food to children who lose access to free or reduced meals when school is out of session. Deborah is sponsoring two sites this year, one if Browns Mills and one in Mt. Holly.
The Food Bank of South Jersey estimates that over 57,000 children in the area face food insecurity. Working with other local partners, the Food Bank has identified high-need sites that brings daily meals to these children.
Deborah participated in the kick-off event of the Summer Meals Program.
