Deborah Heart and Lung Center is holding a screening event on September 26th to assess for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). This is a one-time screening. If you have diabetes, are a smoker, or have had heart (or other) artery blockages, and are interested in finding out if you are eligible for the screening, please call (609) 621-2080, option #2. Typical symptoms of impaired leg circulation include pain, aching, tiredness, cramping, or tiredness in leg muscles while walking. Additionally, lower back pain, hip pain, cramping, or aching when walking may also indicate an arterial blockage in the aorta or iliac arteries.
